Yesterday I finally accomplished the next step of the BodyPump instructor process. I video taped myself teaching a full class, and it went great! It’s all ready to be sent in and assessed. Fingers crossed I get that full pass!!

Six Awesome Ways to Eat a Yam!!
Yams are my favorite type of carbs…by FAR. I always make sure that the yam bowl (yes they have their own bowl in my kitchen) is fully stocked. In fact, almost every time we visit the store, yams are thrown into the cart! Thank God my Mom loves me and is willing to buy them every time. Thanks Mom, you’ve always got my back.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again (oh so many times). Downtown San Diego is my favorite place in the world. It is absolutely impossible to not enjoy yourself here.
Race Week Nutrition Stuff
In an ideal world, runners would watch what they ate all the time. Just like a car, we need adequate fuel. And the type of fuel we get determines how are bodies will run. If you put the crappy gas in a car, it won’t drive as well. If a runner eats straight junk, they won’t run as well.
Bags are Packed
The family is off to San Diego tonight! I’ve had my bags packed for a whole day. Not like I’m excited or anything (I’m really excited).
